Sugardeer is the work of Cleveland-based composer and producer Danny Kit. Feeling stagnated in their career in classical music, Kit began working with the indie scene to better express themself through their love of pop production and rock sensibilities. With this background in composition, collaboration, and emotional repression, Sugardeer weaves ornate orchestrations into a wistful indie-pop sound that delights in the cryptic and the revelatory.

Their self-produced debut EP, ,Good Names for Strays, released on November 17th, 2023. They’re currently working on a full-length record, and continue playing shows as they put their efforts in uplifting the Cleveland DIY scene.
