Sugardeer is the solo project by Cleveland based composer Danny Kit. Until 2020, Boyle walked the line by writing for orchestras, chamber ensembles, choirs, and short films in college. But in search of a sense of identity, they shifted gears in order to better express themself through their love of pop production and rock sensibilities. This shift, combined with their background in composition and collaboration, influences Sugardeer's writing to weave ornate orchestrations into a wistful indie-pop sound that delights in the cryptic and the revelatory.
